REPEATING YOUR LAST BIRTH ISN'T AN OPTION
Train for the birth you actually want.
You did the hospital class, you read the books, you had a plan. But when labour actually happened, things changed. Interventions started rolling in, your partner didn't know how to help, and you didn't know what questions to ask or what to do next. In the end, you walked out of birth feeling like it happened to you. Now you're pregnant again, you know you want a very different birth but you don't know how to get it, because you did everything right last time.
I know what that feels like, because it happened to me. An unplanned caesarean after doing everything right on paper, and months spent replaying the birth in my head. I walked away from 10 years in strategy consulting and retrained as a birth doula and educator. I've spent the last 5 years helping women get their healing, second births, and I got mine too.
I understood the gap, and what it actually takes.
That knowing about birth is not the same as being ready for it.
Not more information to read, a real understanding of the physical and emotional techniques that support physiological birth, practised with your partner until they're second nature. Honest, independent guidance on how to get the birth you want within the realities of hospital policy. A trained partner, who knows exactly what to do, so they can be your main support through birth, not just a passenger.
When birth starts, you don't need to know more. You need to know what to do, and feel confident doing it.

Choose options

"For anyone nervous about birth, who isn't, I would a thousand times recommend The Birth Method course and Birth Bag to help you overcome your fears and give you the best possible chance of having the positive birth experience you wish for."
Knowing about birth is not the same as being ready for it.
Get clear on your options, map your birth preferences through all the twists and turns that birth can take, and know how to confidently advocate for the birth you want within the hospital system.
If you want a vaginal birth, you need to train for it. Get your body and mind into a great place, learn the physical techniques that create space, and train your partner to support you through each stage of labour.
You only birth well when you're not thinking your way through it. Practise what you'll do when labour slows, stalls, gets hard or plans change, so you aren't figuring it out in the birth room, or surprised when interventions start rolling.
You aren't just learning about birth. You're training for yours.
What we cover
Understanding the physiology of birth is the foundation that makes every technique make sense. How hormones drive labour, how your baby navigates the pelvis, and how your body is designed to work. When you understand the mechanism, you can protect it, support it, and use the tools with purpose.
This module starts with intention. What kind of birth do you want and how do you build toward it. Birth often has its own plan. This module covers the most common decision points so that when they come, you are ready. Birth preferences, induction, caesarean birth, VBAC, and active birth with an epidural.
The weeks after birth shape your recovery more than most women expect. How to plan postpartum before birth so support is already in place. Why the first 40 days matter and how to protect them. The key newborn skills so you feel capable, not overwhelmed.
Downloadable guides, meditations, and further reading. Everything that supports your preparation beyond the videos. Yours to keep and return to throughout pregnancy and beyond.
