The Birth Bag
The Birth Bag is a complete birth preparation system. Professional labour tools hired and delivered to your door, paired with instant access to The Birth Method, a practical video program teaching you and your partner exactly what to do when labour starts. The two are designed to be used together.
The bag includes everything from a TENS machine and rebozo to massage oil and support partner cards. Some items are yours to hire and return. Some are yours to keep.
We recommend booking for when you are 36 weeks pregnant. Our standard hire period is six weeks.

Select the date you would like your bag to arrive. We recommend 36 weeks gestation, which gives you time to practise with the tools before your due date and takes the hire period up to 42 weeks for babies arriving later. If you are expecting twins or would like more time to practise, you can book earlier. The standard hire period is six weeks and can be extended for $10 per week.
You can cancel your booking up to one week before your hire date by emailing contact@thebirthbag.com. Because The Birth Method is unlocked immediately on purchase, a $129 course fee is retained on cancellation if the program has been accessed. If you have not accessed The Birth Method at the time of cancellation, you will receive a full refund. If your bag has already shipped, please contact us to discuss your options.
Your package includes a pre-paid return label. Drop the hire items at any post office within one week of your hire period ending. If you need more time, email us. Extensions are available at $10 per week, life and babies happen so don't worry.
When you complete your booking you will be asked to create an account. Save your login details and use them to access The Birth Method Members Hub straight away. Please note that if you are booking during the prelaunch period, you will be provided with course access on 14 June.
Yes. If you would like to keep the hire items rather than return them, contact us for the purchase price. The TENs machine comes with a manufacturer's warranty and we can help you order additional pads.
